Bellingham Technical College is recruiting for a Counselor to begin summer quarter, 2018. This is a full-time tenure-track position. The primary responsibility is to provide direct services and referrals to enhance student success and retention. There is an emphasis on short-term counseling of students regarding issues that impact academic progress, career exploration, academic advising, and crisis intervention in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding. Requires minimum of a Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution; and minimum two years of equivalent full-time work experience in counseling individuals regarding personal, mental health, academic and career issues.
