Compass Health is currently looking for a new School-based Clinician III for our Children's Outpatient program in Mount Vernon. The School-based Clinician III works in conjunction with the Program Manager to ensure that clinicians have appropriate supervision and that clients receive high quality clinical care. This position provides a range of clinically indicated services, including but not limited to individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and case management services for children with behavioral health conditions and their families/natural supports. This position is responsible for assessing client/families functioning and needs, and partnering with the client/families to develop an individually tailored care plan designed to address the client/families goals. This position primarily functions in a school-based setting and is responsible for providing embedded school services as defined by school personnel and approved by the Program Manager, as well as coordinating directly with school personnel. This position will also provide clinical supervision to MA or BA level clinicians and/or interns and provide crisis coverage as needed.POSITION SUMMARYJob Title: School-based Clinician IIIProgram: 41003 - Child & Family Services, Skagit CountyLocation: Mount VernonHours: Full-time (40 hours/week)Wage: $21.42 - $39.56/hour DOEREQUIREMENTSMA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field. Current Washington State Licensure or equivalent in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling. Current Washington State Licensure or equivalent in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling. Meets educational and training requirements for designation as a Child Mental Health Specialist preferred.Experience in medical, mental health or social services field preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based Practices, or interest and ability to learn. Washington State Approved Supervisor Training must be completed prior to providing clinical supervision.Ability to work effectively with outside resources including managed care, educational systems, and probation departments. Ability to formulate an individual treatment plan and apply appropriate rehabilitation and treatment modalities. Ability to relate effectively with patients, agency staff, other community programs, and the general public. Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement.Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Strong computer proficiency, including keyboarding skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
