Junior Content Strategist - 529103
Job Summary:
Helps maintain editorial standards, accuracy, and quality of Web content. Assists in content strategy recommendations to FIU clients based on information obtained through research, site audits, current-state and competitive analyses, user testing and analytics. Assists in creation of user-friendly experiences on FIU's websites.
- Demonstrates responsibility for hearing the voice of the user, considers all input and transforms it into an optimal content plan.
- Influences stakeholders to optimize digital content.
- Assesses, reviews and approves digital content.
- Follows quality standards and measures content quality. Evangelizes online writing best practices.
- Works and collaborates with content at many levels (Information architecture, style guides, templates, analytics).
- Works closely with designers, business analysts and developers to develop content requirements for existing and proposed content elements.
- Interprets media/communication administrative rules and policies and recommends new and improved programs and/or technologies to effectively manage educational media/communication administration.
- Assists participatory design/user testing sessions and present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior level clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in a role that includes writing or copywriting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of web or marketing content strategy concepts.
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or Marketing.
