Sales Representative
This is a 9 month paid position, beginning in August 2022. The intern will work under the direction of the Director and Assistant Director, Sales & Ticket Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Make a minimum of 50 outbound sales calls per day;
- Responsible for selling season packages, mini-plans, and group tickets with an emphasis on Men’s and Women’s Basketball;
- Maintain database of customers and prospects and process ticket orders using Archtics ticketing system;
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction;
- Represent George Mason Athletics at in-house events and off-site community events to promote the Department and prospect for new leads; and
- Provide additional support to Ticket Office and marketing department when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- This position requires a 35-hour-per-week commitment; evening and weekend hours are required;
- The candidate must have demonstrated customer service skills, effective communication and organization skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in sales are preferred; and
- Preference is given to those enrolled in a degree-granting program with an internship requirement. The position is best suited for someone looking to start their career in ticket sales.
