Demonstrate knowledge of the oil industry and sub-surface oil pump manufacturing. Maintain excellent customer relationships while striving to expand market share and achieve sales and profit goals. Maintain assigned customer account data, maintain relationships with major existing and prospect for new customers. Inform sales management of competitor's product line/pricing policy. Identify specific high potential customers within the region, including a strategy for acquiring their business. Assist sales management with training customers on product use. Assist sales management in preparing annual operating expense budget within defined region. Inform sales management of new product opportunities. Prepare sales objectives and expense control goals. Assist sales management in preparation of yearly sales forecast.
*Sells company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.
*Achieves sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction; researches and provides forecasting for sales activities in the assigned sales territory or account.
*Develops strong customer relationships.
*Conducts negotiations according to company guidelines.
*Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
*Responds to customer concerns about the company and its products.
*Knows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.
*Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
*Effectively uses sales tools and processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process.
*Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
