Job Description | The Director for Inclusion and Diversity Engagement has primary responsibility for the development and coordination of outreach and awareness programs which promote multicultural education for the campus community. Multicultural education includes working with students of various races, creeds, religions, national origins, and/or sexual orientation. Outreach areas include, but are not limited to, residential housing programming; student affairs programming; general student contact and referral; professional and student staff development; recruitment, training, and orientation of residential housing staff; and program support to student organizations. |
Required Qualifications | *bachelors degree; *demonstrated experience working with program and event planning; *demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). |
Preferred Qualifications | *Experience working directly with college students and volunteers; *experience working with diverse groups of people and within a Student Affairs-related field; *masters degree. |

Job Duty | Establish and maintain an ongoing assessment and evaluation of the quality of minority student life; |

Job Duty | provide support, planning, and organization for the mentoring of ethnic, minority and international first-year students; |

Job Duty | provide leadership for Student Affairs, and in particular the Residential Housing Staff, and the University community to foster specific support programs for ethnic minority and international students; |

Job Duty | serve as a resource person and consultant for all Student Affairs staff in the area of diversity awareness programming; |

Job Duty | assist the Director of Student Activities & Engagement with facilitating University programming weeks and observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. day, Diversity Week, Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, etc; |

Job Duty | assist with New Student Registrations/Orientations and coordinate International Student Orientation Session; |

Job Duty | develop and maintain effective networking with other educational and professional organizations regarding diversity education and other professional issues; |

Job Duty | complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; |

Job Duty | promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large; |

Job Duty | promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students; |

Job Duty | participate on University committees; and |
