The Lincoln Trail Area Development District is seeking an individual to provide Long Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman services on a contractual basis in the eight county Lincoln Trail region. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field or be a licensed registered nurse. Experience working in a LTC setting is desired. Primary responsibilities include identifying, investigating, resolving, or attempting to resolve complaints made by, or on behalf of, LTC residents. Skills needed include excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction and strong organizational skills, ability to relate to others, and practical computer knowledge. Local travel within the district is frequent and occasional travel out of district is required.
