- We have a wonderful opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine tech to sit for the NMTCB(CT) boards, as a student, enrolled with our College of Health Professions
Job Summary:
- Performs all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department
- Calculates, orders, administers and records radioactive isotopes
- Instructs patients on proper exam preparations
- Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient
- Performs all required quality control procedures
- Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements
Minimum Qualifications: CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License, current CPR certification. NO PET experience necessary, will train.
Preferred Qualifications: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT)
Rotating Schedule 6am-5pm (8.5 hr shifts)
NO weekends or call
Occasional overtime
$3,000. sign on bonus available. $1,500 at hire and $1,500 after 6 months of active employment.
