Northland Fishing Tackle® (www.northlandtackle.com), headquartered in Bemidji, MN, is one of North America's leading producers of premium quality jigs, live bait rigs, spinnerbaits and spoons for Panfish, Perch, Walleye, Bass, Trout, Northern Pike and Muskie.
Primary Objective Of Position:
The Inside Sales Coordinator assists the Northland Fishing Tackle sales team in managing sales database CRM, organizing online sales activities, EDI order management, and other basic customer service activities.
Key Results Areas:
Sales Activities:
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities from internal and external sources
- Develop and maintain customer records and database information
- Measurement and metrics of sales activities
- Develop and maintain database of contacts and targets (both individuals and institutions)
Customer Care Activities:
- Focus on online sales
- Direct consumer interaction via phone, email and online chat
- Electronic Data (EDI) order management
- Customer listing management
Key Competencies:
- Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
- BS/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Knowledge of fishing products and techniques.
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with high level of dedication.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; not continuously.
