Shipping and Receiving Lead
The Shipping and Receiving Lead serves as the most senior/lead shipping & receiving employee and works alongside the truck loaders daily. The Lead notifies management when problems arise which prevent on-time customer delivery, or when other operational issues occur. The Shipping & Receiving Lead creates bill of ladings (BOL) for shipment of material, creates receivers for received material, and enters information into appropriate computer system. This position may identify inventory shortages and pull work orders to replenish.
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a related function/ in the metals industry. Experience operating an overhead crane. Experience operating a tow motor/forklift. Self-motivated with ability to work under general supervision. Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
Position Description: The Shop Helper serves as an assistant in various areas of the warehouse. Duties could include packaging, banding, operating the packaging line, operating a table saw, assembling pallets, operating a nail gun. This position frequently uses an overhead crane and forklift to move material around the warehouse. Opportunities to grow into specialized roles available.
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of dependable work experience. 1 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred. Basic math skills Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred.

Satisfy customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery in a safe manner, while maximizing productivity. Sets up and operates slitting machine to cut sheet metal into strips of specified widths.
Minimum Qualifications: Previous experience running a Slitter. Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious. Basic math skills. Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings. Team oriented with effective communication skills. Working knowledge of general computer programs. Previous experience with precision instruments. Previous experience in metals strongly preferred.
