Puget Sound ESD seeks a dynamic, highly-skilled Expanded Learning Program Manager to develop, implement and support the Expanded Learning Program and coordinate an extended-day academic enrichment and family program. The Expanded Learning Program Manager will provide supervision of staff and coordination of sites that provide after-school youth activities and community educational opportunities.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts, charter schools and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-12 services in the state. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Administration, or related area (Associate’s/Vocational Degree and progressively responsible job-related work experience may substitute for BA/BS degree)
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience working with K-12 children and their families in traditional and/or expanded education programs
Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate will also have experience working with low-income children and families and/or those from diverse cultures, experience managing budgets and/or grant writing experience.
This position will be based at PSESD offices in Puyallup or Renton, Washington. This position is a .5 FTE (20 hours per week), year ‘round. This is an exempt position. Salary: $30,545 - $35,422/year (based on 20 hours per week). Salary offers consider experience, qualifications and internal equity.
