The Accounting Manager supervises and directs staff in the accounting department responsible for the areas of General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payables and Receivables, Grants Accounting, Financial Aid Disbursements, and the Business Office. This position reviews, and reconciles monthly, the college’s accounting system (AIS) to the state’s accounting system (CARDINAL); ensures compliance with and provides training on policies, procedures, and regulations related to the management of Federal, Local and Commonwealth funds. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for implementing internal control standards and best practices in accordance with the Agency Risk Management and Internal Control Standards (ARMICS).
