Job Summary
The Photographer will be a member of our photo & video team to photograph boards of grouted tile and tabletop products. This position will work with in-house photography department to produce photography standard product and styled images for our e-commerce tile collections. You will be responsible for fulfilling a standard set of photographs per product with opportunities to work on more creative projects. This position will allow hands on experience working with a small team in a commercial photo studio environment. Only applications with an attached link to portfolio accepted.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Photographing tile products.
  • Work with in-house props and furniture to produce a room scene.
  • Maintain a photo asset workflow standard including but not limited to following naming conventions, file management, archiving and quality control.
  • Building out sets with a solid understanding of light manipulation.
  • Troubleshooting for lighting and editing software as needed.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Quality Check final production with advisory team.
  • Maintain and manage cleanliness of studio and sets.
  • Assist with managing inventory of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Prioritize work balance of multiple projects and meet and exceed deadlines.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.
  • Identify and address problems as they arise.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties.

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree or greater in Photo or Video is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum (1-3) years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Experience: Greater than (3-5) years of experience working with photography of building, home, design, or fashion products is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask across several projects.
  • Experience with strobe and continuous lighting equipment.
  • Experience with Mac OS.
  • Experience with Capture One Pro is a plus.
  • Experience with Sony Cameras.
  • Excellent with Photoshop and Adobe Creative.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong image archival management skills.
