Hospital Receiving Manager – Receiving

Upstate Medical University is looking for an Hospital Receiving Manager to join their dynamic team of expert professionals.

Duties include, but are not limited to planning, organizing , scheduling and managing the staff and work for the receiving dock for Upstate. Also, includes overseeing the timely receipt, shipment, and delivery of goods and perishables. Works in collaboration with the Director of Supply and Logistics in accomplishing the responsibilities of the position and coordinating with all departments and Nursing and clinical services

Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Management or related field and 2 years relevant supervisory experience OR Associates Degree in Healthcare, Management or related field and 4 years relevant supervisory experience required. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, professional appearance and demeanor and service oriented attitude required. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time and ability to lift 35 pounds to shoulder height required.
