The available posts are located in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area.
As a Security Officer, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Provide general security duties to client, such as: crime prevention, crime reduction, and order maintenance by observing, documenting, and reporting activities.
Maintain visibility to ensure/deter unacceptable activities.
Comply with Clients specific post instructions, which may include: the checking of employee badges, inspecting and logging information on vehicles entering or leaving facilities, conducting walks of perimeters and/or interior offices and doors.
Any other duties that may be required or assigned by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must understand and comply with all client regulations.
Must have a good understanding and follow Vinson Guard Service Inc. Security Officer Handbook and Vinson policies.
Must keep uniforms clean and presentable at all times.
Assignments, shifts, days of the week, holidays, or weekends are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice and may be temporary or for extended periods.
UNARMED: At least 18 years of age to work as a Vinson Guard Service Security Officer.
ARMED: At least 21 years of age.
Must have good computer (PC) skills.
Must meet age requirement of 25 years, due to insurance requirements.
Must have a clean criminal background, no felonies or misdemeanors in your past.
Must hold a current TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Card) or be able to obtain such certification.
Preferred: 2 or more years’ experience in one or more of the following: Law Enforcement, Military Service, or Chemical Facility Security.
Must be drug free.
At time of hire you must present documentation for completion of I-9.
At time of hire you must present documentation needed for company payroll setup. This includes a Photo ID and a social security card.

Pay starts at $12.00 per hour.
