Whatcom Community College invites applications for a part-time, adjunct faculty position to teach in the Science department, in particular to teach Anatomy and Physiology classes. Instructors are needed for winter and/or spring quarters 2020.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A master's degree in biology or closely related field and a strong academic background in general biology.
- Demonstrated teaching ability in a science classroom and laboratory setting.
- Experience teaching anatomy and physiology in a community college or a four year university setting.
- Commitment to student centered instruction and discipline course outcomes.
- Desire to stay current in developments in biology.
- Desire to provide quality instruction to students.
- Commitment to excellence and quality in biology instruction.
- A commitment to working with a diverse student population. Actively contributes to a work environment that embraces diversity and uses diverse perspectives to enhance the attainment of the College's mission.
- Based on the current adjunct salary schedule.
- Winter and/or spring quarters 2020.
