Whatcom Community College invites applications for a part-time, adjunct faculty position to teach in the Math department beginning Spring Quarter 2020, with additional opportunities possible for Summer and Fall Quarter 2020.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop, prepare, and teach college-approved courses in accordance with approved course outcomes and class schedules.
- Maintain office hours for student consultation at times and places convenient to students, and respond to student requests in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a closely related field with strong mathematics preparation required.
- Experience teaching mathematics.
- Commitment to excellence and quality in mathematics instruction.
- Ability to inspire a diverse student population to enjoy learning math and achieve their highest potential.
- Experience with instructional technology.
- Actively contributes to a work environment that embraces diversity and uses diverse perspectives to enhance the attainment of the College's mission.
- An understanding of the mission of Whatcom Community College.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and abilities.
- A desire to provide a unique and quality experience for students.
- Based on the current adjunct salary schedule.
