Exempt, Cybersecurity Grants Manager: The Cybersecurity Grants Manager supports the principal investigators (PIs), co-principal investigators and project administrator in managing and implementing large federal grant projects housed at WCC, including two funded through the National Science Foundation (NSF) and one through the National Security Agency (NSA) totaling approximately $7.5 M. This position supports the goals and objectives of these projects which is to increase the quantity and quality of community college cybersecurity programs and workforce throughout the U.S. This position assists project leaders/directors with managing, implementing and overseeing the operational aspects of the grant projects including operational staff management and oversight, project management, contract development and administration, budget management, project reporting, data tracking, file management and communication with grant sub-awardees, consultants and contractors. Part-Time Hourly, Upward Bound Summer Academy Instructors: Summer Academy courses are high school-level courses that prepare Upward Bound participants for college. The program is soliciting instructors who can engage high school students by designing "hands-on" curriculum and deliver content in a meaningful and engaging way in math (through pre-calculus), lab science, foreign language, composition and literature, and digital media – applicants will teach in their specific discipline.
Summer Academy courses are tentatively scheduled between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:20 pm, Monday-Thursday, starting on June 25th, and concluding on August 2, 2018. Instructors may be assigned to teach up to three classes.
