Cybersecurity Marketing, Communications & Web Coordinator: The marketing, communications and web site coordinator supports Whatcom Community College's (WCC's) cybersecurity grants leadership team in implementing communications, marketing and web-based activity (web sites and web-based events) for WCC's cybersecurity grant projects. The marketing, communications and web coordinator will support the goals and objectives of these projects to increase the quantity and quality of the cybersecurity workforce, educational programs and educational resources throughout the U.S. Reporting to the cybersecurity grants manager, the coordinator works closely with grant project leaders and staff to support marketing and communication needs for the projects via marketing materials, exhibit collateral and the web and social media; schedule and host online workshops; and support data collection, grant report writing and editing, and other grant activities as needed. 

Cybersecurity Grants Manager: Supports the principal investigators (PIs), co-principal investigators and project administrator in managing and implementing large federal grant projects housed at WCC, including two funded through the National Science Foundation (NSF) and one through the National Security Agency (NSA) totaling approximately $7.5 M.This position supports the goals and objectives of these projects which is to increase the quantity and quality of community college cybersecurity programs and workforce throughout the U.S. This position assists project leaders/directors with managing, implementing and overseeing the operational aspects of the grant projects including operational staff management and oversight, project management, contract development and administration, budget management, project reporting, data tracking, file management and communication with grant sub-awardees, consultants and contractors. The Cybersecurity Grants Manager participates as a member of the projects' leadership teams. 

Computer Information Systems Instructor:  Full-time, tenure-track Computer Information Systems instructor beginning Fall Quarter 2018. The College is seeking a dynamic individual interested in developing and engaging students through the use and implementation of innovative and inclusive curriculum and teaching methods, including the application of technology, both inside and outside the classroom. The College seeks faculty who can adapt to a variety of teaching situations and who have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, colleagues, staff, and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and global understanding. College faculty teach an equivalent of 15 credits per quarter and participate in contributing to the college through committee service and program leadership and development. 

Adjunct Computer Information Systems (CIS) Instructor: Part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach beginning Spring Quarter, 2018 and to expand the pool of instructors for future positions that may occur. Depending on experience will teach a variety of courses, such as Linux, Operating Systems, A+ Certification, Virtualization, Networking and Security.
