Under supervision of the Engineering Manager, this person works directly with all phases of projects for District capital, improvement and maintenance projects for the District’s water, fiber and electric utilities or District facilities. They work directly with staff in the development and coordination of the project budget, delivery expectations, and tracking the status of project expectations and results. They are a direct liaison with vendors, contractors, and outside agencies to ensure contractual obligations are met. They provide important feedback to the supervisor related to project timeline, delivery, reporting and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Two years related municipal, utility, or construction experience and/or training is desired. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, construction management, or construction accounting is strongly desired. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must have the ability to obtain a valid Washington State driver’s license within thirty days of employment and have a driving record free from serious or frequent violations. Ability to obtain TWIC credentials also required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty as outlined in the job description.
